Birding for Kids and their Families

(After September 3, 2011, Birding for Kids will start up again in June, 2012)

Meet at front gate of garden in Golden Gate Park, 9th Avenue at Lincoln Way, for a guided bird walk for students 6 to 12 years of age. The Saturday walk begins with a mini-class-show and tell on calls and songs, beaks, bones and wings etc. This monthly program is oriented toward young students and their families. All youngsters must be accompanied by an adult.

10 am to 11am (new time).

$10.00 per family. Reservations required for groups of 10 or more.

Please bring binoculars (if you have them) and a pencil.

Program also sponsored by SF Botanical Garden and Golden Gate Audubon Society.
