This year's flocks of local birds, presented by third graders from Jean Parker and Guadalupe Elementary Schools, included Lazuli Buntings, Red-shouldered Hawks, Great Horned Owls, Ruby-Crowned Kinglets, Peregrine Falcons, American Goldfinches, Olive-sided Flycatchers, Western Scrub Jays, Allen's Hummingbirds, Hooded Orioles, Steller's Jays, Golden-crowned Sparrows, Wilson's Warblers, Varied Thrushes, Song Sparrows, and Barn Owls. This year's winners were the Western Scrub Jays, Anna's Hummingbirds, Varied Thrushes, and Song Sparrows.
